Our Story

Poppin Mess Champagne & Dessert Bar, is the ultimate dessert bar all inspired by popcorn. As we are a bakery during the day and a dessert lounge by night!

Located on historic U Street in Northwest, Washington DC. Poppin Mess, currently features a to-go window and our outdoor patio. To which our customers can enjoy a drink or indulge in one of our desserts! Our dessert lounge will feature a full service bar, offering various champagnes, along with a late night dessert menu. Our lounge is set to open in the early spring of 2024. Our lounge will serve patrons 27 years of age and older. 

Poppin Mess Champagne & Dessert Bar is owned and operated by Teia Hill. She is also the current owner of The Popcorn Bag DC, and Mosley Medical Group.  The Popcorn Bag DC was the first popcorn bar located in Prince Georges county.  Popcorn Bag DC is known for its amazing popcorn located in stadiums and high end hotels, through out the Washington metropolitan area.
